Skid Row atThe Wolf’s Den at Mohegan Sun – November 11, 2016

Back in February, we saw Skid Row and Slaughter play the arena at Mohegan Sun, in a gig that confirmed rumors that former Dragonforce singer ZP Theart was now handling vocal duties for Skid Row. Now that they’ve been touring through the summer, and fresh off a stint on the KISS Kruise, Skid Row packed the Wolf’s Den with a performance that gave fans a night of music they love.

The band was tight, and ZP sounds great on the material. The setlist was fairly similar to the show we saw in February, including bass player Rachel Bolan handling lead vocals on a cover of the Ramones’ “Psycho Therapy.”

Besides the huge hits you expect to hear, one of the highlights of the set was when guitar players Dave Sabo and Scotti Hill traded dueling guitar licks during “Monkey Business.”

Nobody has made any long term comments on ZP’s status in the band, but for now, it’s definitely working. Do not pass up a chance to check them out!

  • I saw Skid Row in Atlantic City a few weeks ago. The show was amazing and ZP made a good impression on me! I hope they will stay together.

  • You and Skid Row where my youth. You MF’ers rocked it like no one else!
So what is keeping you from getting the real voice back to the band?
Why hold on to old bullshit? You mother fuckers tore shit apart when you where together.
The stand-ins were ok, and i have rocked out on all your stuff.
ITS TIME TO PUT IT ALL TOGETHER AGAIN!
Leave all the past in the past and get together and Rock us out!
The voices you have inserted over the years have missed the musical connection you guys had as a total unit.
Im a Neverending fan of both Skid Row ans Sebastian Bach. You guys have to figure it out.
I want to see you guys in big venues with the likes of TESLA!
I would pay unmentionable amounts of money to experience that!

You MFers need to figure your shit out! The fans want you together!
Skid Rows music deserves the voice it was built around and made everyone love you. Sabastians voice deserves the musicians that made you guys a complete takeover of the late 80’s and early 90’s.
You guys had it going on at the break up.
Going hard and punk was where the band wanted and then GONE?

Get your shit together and get all the members back together!
