Fozzy
Worcester Palladium Upstairs
Worcester, MA
October 5, 2017

Fozzy just released their new album, Judas. A week before the album’s release, Fozzy returned to Massachusetts, for the first time since 2014.

They kicked off the show with the one-two combo that opens the new album, the title track and “Drinkin’ with Jesus.” From the moment they hit the stage, singer Chris Jericho (Also known as Y2J in the wrestling community) and the rest of the band have the crowd mesmerized. They may have been playing the small room at the Palladium, but they put on a show equal to what you would see from them on Main Stage at Download Festival.

A highlight for me was “To Kill a Stranger” off of 2002’s Happenstance. This was the track that first got me into Fozzy, fifteen years ago, so it was great to hear them perform it live.

They performed another track off of Judas, titled Painless. This song hadn’t be released anywhere online, only to people who had preordered the album. If the new songs played tonight are anything to go by, we’ve got a great album to look forward to!
