SugarHouse Casino is a one-stop destination for the hottest bands, world-class performing artists, premier sporting events and headline comedian. I was at the SugarHouse Casino for a different reason, when I walked into the Fishtown Hops bar and saw the John Francis Trio.

Luckily, I had my camera on me, because life is amazing, as was the band.

John Francis O’Mara is a folk/Americana singer, who was born in New York City and raised in rural Pennsylvania.  Influenced by many of the music greats, like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and Neil Young, John’s sound is packed with the great lyrics, and a backing band delivering his wonderful sound.    

If you ever get a chance to see this band, whether by chance or choice, they are well worth the listen.
