One of rock’s most enduring bands is set to return to Rhode Island this fall as Journey brings its Final Frontier Tour to Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence. The Final Frontier Tour has been a celebration of Journey’s remarkable legacy, showcasing the music that has made the band a fixture of rock radio for nearly five decades. Fans can expect timeless anthems like “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Faithfully,” and “Wheel in the Sky,” along with deeper cuts that longtime followers have embraced throughout the band’s storied career. Performing without an opening act, the “An Evening with Journey” format allows the band to deliver an expansive set that highlights every era of its career.

Journey’s current lineup features founding guitarist Neal Schon, keyboardist and longtime songwriter Jonathan Cain, vocalist Arnel Pineda, bassist Todd Jensen, keyboardist Jason Derlatka, and drummer Deen Castronovo. Together, the band continues to honor Journey’s rich musical history while delivering the high-energy performances that have made them one of the world’s premier touring acts.

Since forming in San Francisco in 1973, Journey has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and earned a place among rock’s most iconic bands. Their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 cemented a legacy built on unforgettable songwriting, soaring musicianship, and some of the most recognizable songs in popular music. Decades after first breaking through, Journey continues to fill arenas across North America, attracting generations of fans eager to sing along to the soundtrack of their lives.

When the Final Frontier Tour arrives at Amica Mutual Pavilion on October 29, concertgoers can expect an evening packed with timeless hits, exceptional musicianship, and the kind of communal atmosphere that only Journey can create. Whether you’ve followed the band since the beginning, or discovered them more recently, the Providence stop promises to be one of the region’s premier classic rock events this fall.
