Last week, I saw Awolnation at the newly opened venue, The Fillmore, in Philadelphia. I have covered various genres but never before have I covered electronic rock\/folk electronica and it was certainly an incredible experience. Opening for them on this tour was folk singer, Meg Myers.<\/p>\n

Meg Myers<\/p><\/div>The venue began to fill up as the night wore on and fans excitedly chattered about what the evening would bring them. It wasn\u2019t long until Meg Myers made her appearance on the tall stage. She immediately began her set with her unique airy yet strong voice, setting off the perfect vibe for the show. She danced around the stage, moving along flowingly with the beats unleashed upon the crowd. Her set consisted of: \u201cMotel,\u201d \u201cA Bolt from the Blue,\u201d \u201cGo,\u201d \u201cDesire,\u201d \u201cCurbstomp,\u201d \u201cFeather,\u201d \u201cSorry,\u201d \u201cLemon Eyes,\u201d \u201cI Really Want You to Hate Me,\u201d and \u201cHeart Heart Head.\u201d The crowd was definitely warmed up by her performance and they were ready to enjoy the final act of the night, Awolnation.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
