David Coverdale is on the road with Whitesnake, one the Greatest Hits 2016 Tour. Supporting them is group made up of talent from Aerosmith and Ted Nugent, Whitford\/St. Holmes. <\/p>\n

Whitford\/St. Holmes<\/h3>\n

In the early 80’s, guitarist Brad Whitford left Aerosmith, and teamed up with Ted Nugent vocalist Derek St. Holmes. They released an album, toured a little bit, and then Brad rejoined Aerosmith. Now, 30 years later, they released Reunion<\/I>, (reviewed here<\/a>) and are out on the road. <\/p>\n

Whitford\/St. Holmes<\/p><\/div>This band is a force to be reckoned with. With a shorter set, they completely omitted their first album, playing mostly tracks off the new release. They also played a “Dayjob Medley,” featuring snippets of some Ted Nugent\/Aerosmith songs. This medley featured Aerosmith keyboard player Buck Johnson singing lead vocals on “Last Child.”<\/p>\n

Brad and Derek trade off great guitar solos all night. As someone who has seen Aerosmith nearly a dozen times, it was great to see Brad talking to the crowd in between songs… He’s usually one of the more reserved members of Aerosmith.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
