Return of the Dreads had a co-headlining duo up of Korn and Rob Zombie, and of our favorites, In This Moment, for support. \u00a0Incase you are wondering; Yes! Every band had someone with dreads!<\/span><\/p>\n

In This Moment<\/h3>\n

This wasn\u2019t our first In This Moment Show, and it certainly won\u2019t be the last. \u00a0This heavy metal band was formed in 2005 by Maria Brink and Chris Howorth. Though there has been some member turn around, the line-up they have now is amazing. \u00a0Maria and Chris are still in the band, and Travis Johnson, Randy Weitzel and Kent Diimmel, round out the rest of it. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Although their music is heavy, and Maria does her fair share of screaming, she also sounds (and looks) beautiful. \u00a0Each song during their performance is a production. \u00a0There are costume changes, props and back up dancers. When one song ends, she disappears into a tent right behind her small stage, and returns with something new on. <\/span><\/p>\n

They were the opener, so they were only able to play a few songs, but they made great decisions on what to play. \u00a0From \u201cAdrenalize\u201d to \u201cWhore\u201d, and everything in the middle of the alphabet they were right on cue. The fans near me were disappointed they didn\u2019t play anything from their older albums, but beggars can\u2019t be choosers. \u00a0Just as we thought the set was done, we realized they hadn\u2019t played \u201cBlood\u201d yet. Almost immediately, Maria appeared back on stage, in a new outfit and started calling for Blood. \u00a0This band, and Maria, never lets you down! <\/span><\/p>\n
