The Dead Daisies are the super group you have dreamt of! This Australian-American rock band has a line up you have to see to believe. \u00a0They’ve had some rotating talent, but the line up right now is outstanding! The band is currently boasting the talents of: Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), John Corabi (M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce, The Scream), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy), Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) and David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink). We were lucky enough to cover them a couple of months ago and were really impressed with what the saw. (Read our other reviews of them HERE<\/a> and HERE<\/a>)<\/p>\n On November 4th The Dead Daisies released a new single called “Song And A Prayer” and a short film to go along with it. The short film, reflecting the poignant story behind the lyrics of the single, off the much acclaimed new album Make Some Noise,<\/em>\u00a0which crashed into the album charts worldwide in August.<\/p>\n This release also marks the end of there summer tour with KISS. John Corabi stated: \u201cThis song turned out to have a special vibe to it, very accessible, which is really cool. But the lyrics are rather dark. In the end it’s about hope, it talks about all the troubles we’re all going through – and that you have to be hopeful, that you will come out of it. Always look on the positive side, that’s the message.\u201d<\/p>\n
