<\/a><\/p>\nAustralian stoner-punk band\u00a0Dune Rats<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0has dropped new single\u00a0Scott Green<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/i><\/b>the next taste of their upcoming\u00a02017 album<\/b>\u00a0on\u00a0Dine Alone Records,\u00a0<\/b>and the follow up to\u00a0Bullshit<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/i><\/b>which was released earlier this year.<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Scott Green\u00a0<\/i><\/b>sees the Brisbane-Sydney three piece stuck at a party wondering \u201cWho\u2019s Scott Green?\u201d \u2013 if the joke hasn\u2019t hit you yet, check out the boys\u2019\u00a0Facebook page<\/span><\/a>\u00a0for more info. The single was produced by\u00a0Zac Carper of FIDLAR,\u00a0<\/b>who is on board for the whole album. Rumour has it, \u201cScott Green\u201d will be home to another\u00a0classic Dunies video<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 who knows what the boys have in store for this one, given their history of one-upping themselves with each new video?? The single is\u00a0available now<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and will be followed shortly after by album release news.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The guys weighed in on how the single came to be:\u00a0\u201cWe made Scott Green out at Joshua Tree in America with Zac from Fidlar. We had 5 days to write some songs in between tours in the US & UK and we busted out a fuck load of tunes having a blast in the middle of bum fuck nowhere. One day we went to ask people at Walmart if they \u201cScott Green?\u201d\u2026and it took all day. When we got back Zac said \u201cyou better have a fucken song after wasting a day looking for who\u2019s got green. We just started making a song about the day \u2013 \u201cWho\u2019s Scott Green\u201d \u2013 and that was it.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n It\u2019s been a non-stop ride since Dune Rats released their self-titled debut album in 2014, which\u00a0Rolling Stone<\/b>\u00a0(Australia) dubbed an\u00a0\u201cunassuming statement of intent.
