\nLate last year, there was a big announcement for Vans Warped Tour. After 24 years of exposing countless bands to generations of fans, this will be the final full cross country tour. What that means for the future remains to be seen, but founder Kevin Lyman says there’s something in store for the tour’s 25th anniversary in 2019.<\/p>\n
The 2018 edition rolled into Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA on July 27. While there’s plenty of reminders that this is the final tour, from merchandise stating it, to many of the bands remarking about it, it’s clear there’s no intentions for the tour to go out any less strong than it always was. More than 70 acts performed across a half dozen stages, from rock to rap, indie to hardcore, emo to death metal, there’s as wide a variety as ever.<\/p>\n
Because there were so many acts, our coverage is going to be split into multiple posts, featuring a couple of bands at a time.<\/p>\n

Appearing on Warped Tour for the third time is Albany, NY pop-punk band State Champs. They are touring in support of their third album, Living Proof<\/i>, which they just released in June. Though they played early in the day, with their show starting at 11:45 AM, the crowd was already pumped up and ready to have a great time with them!<\/p>\n
