Lindsey Stirling in Boston, MA – August 18, 2021

Lindsey Stirling’s Artemis tour came to Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion in the Seaport District earlier in August. You may have heard of her from having appearances on TV shows like America’s Got Talent and Dancing With The Stars. Or maybe you started following her on YouTube back in 2007? Stirling plays violin, as well as dances around the stage in the midst of costume changes.

In between songs she would stop and share bits and pieces of her life. Mostly about how far she’s come and how hard she worked to get there. She jokingly added “Even if your wife forced you to be here I hope you enjoy the show.” While she may cater a little more toward women with her combination of ballet and violin playing she definitely puts on an entertaining show for everyone in attendance. She choreographs her own moves and writes the music for her primarily upbeat, instrumental violin music.

She opened the night with a few songs from her newest album, and played a few songs each from her 5 album discography. Overall her show was enjoyable, she played to a full crowd on a beautiful night on the waterfront. Definitely an encouraging female role model that has carved her own lane in the industry and does it really well at that.
