Slaves On Dope, the alternative metal band, from Montreal is coming out with a new album on September 23rd. Horse is said to “redefine what the world thinks of the band”. With over 23 years in the saddle, they are ready to take on the world! When they first started they came onto the scene in the height of the grunge trend. The band relocated from Montreal and leapt into the L.A scene, bringing their nu/alternative metal sound along, and were quickly signed with Ozzy Osbournes Divine Recordings. Since then the band has toured with Ozzy, Pantera, Godsmack and more, put out a few albums, changed labels and disbanded for a few years.

Now they are breathing some new life into the band. Working with Darryl McDaniels (RUN DMC), Bill Kelliher (Mastodon), H.R (Bad Brains) and Lee-la Baum (The Damn Truth), to give them a hard hitting, new nu-metal sound.

Jason Rockman was quoted saying “It was a dream come true to collaborate with members of RUN DMC, Mastodon and Bad Brains. These are all bands we have idolized and respected forever. It speaks volumes to the passion for creating and giving back!”
