AFI is touring in support of their 9th album, Burials, released in late 2013. I’m not familiar with the band, but I loved their energy! Frontman Davey Havok put on a badass performance, and the crowd really seemed to be into it.

Thirty Seconds to Mars

Thirty Seconds to Mars really won me over tonight. Lead singer Jared Leto, fresh off his Best Supporting Actor Academy Award win, spent a lot of time interacting with the crowd. Their encore consisted of a short acoustic set, and during the final song, they brought a bunch of fans on stage, as confetti cannons showered the arena.
