PLL Boston Cannons vs Carolina Chaos in Pawtucket, RI – May 15, 2026
The Boston Cannons, professional men’s lacrosse team, played at the Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island for the first time. The Cannons kicked off their 2026 season in this new, stunning state-of-the-art facility against the Carolina Chaos.
The Carolina Chaos put up goals and kept the momentum going early. Much of the first half was played in the Cannons defensive zone. Goalie Colin Kirst tallied multiple saves to keep the Cannons in the game.
Rookie superstar Mikey Weisshaar scored his first professional goal with the Boston Cannons. Also putting up goals were Marcus Holman, Coulter Mackesy, Jeff Trainor, Asher Nolting, Graydon Hogg, Mic Kelly, and Tye Kurtz. Another positive highlight for the Cannons was from Zac Tucci’s face-off percentage wins. He won 17 of the 25 face-offs for a 68% win rate for the night.
Although this game was not technically considered a home game for the Boston Cannons, Rhode Island is only around an hour away from Boston. You could see the New England crowd was really pulling for the Cannons. Despite their best efforts, in the end the Cannons came up short with a 14-10 loss to the Carolina Chaos.
