Embraced
Blackout
January 10, 2017
The five-piece melodic hardcore band Embraced formed in Panama City Beach, FL (Spring Break Capitol of the World) in 2000, released one record on Theory 8 Records, and toured widely with the likes of Underoath and Copeland before breaking up in 2003 after a cataclysmic van accident in rural Kansas. Embraced was part of the same Southern hardcore scene that birthed Hopesfall, Beloved, Norma Jean, and Stretch Armstrong, and they played Furnace Fest and Cornerstone Festival. Embraced members went on to form or perform with the bands Go Radio, Across Five Aprils, The Sincerity Guild (members of And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead and Hopesfall) and Don’t Die Cindy. Members from Embraced have all move onto other things, film production for Steve, marine biology education for Brandon, Jonathan is into bar ownership and event production, journalism is keeping Ryan busy, and graphic design is Jared work.
Today, the band is thrilled to celebrate the reissue of An Orchestrated Failure with a special edition 15th anniversary 180-gram vinyl reissue. This is the first ever pressing and is limited to 300 copies an can be purchased here!
