Amon Amarth at The Paradise Boston – May 7, 2011
Some Vikings from Sweden have made their way into Boston!
Like the Volbeat show I shot here at the Paradise a few weeks ago, there was no room to really get in front of the stage to shoot the band. Knowing I would be stuck in one corner, I opted to shoot from the opposite side of the stage as I had for Volbeat. Again, the lights left a lot to be desired, but I made the best of what I could.
Amon Amarth is touring in support of their new album Sutur Rising. They brought no opening act, and instead are playing two sets; the first set is Sutur Rising in its entirety, followed by a “greatest hits” set.
The show was sold out, and this crowd was loving it!
