Gogol Bordello brings their unique gypsy punk music  back to Providence! At the time of their last visit, in 2013, their album Pura Vida Conspiracy was days away from release.

Gogol Bordello is a tough band to explain musically. Made up of eight members, including a violin and an accordian player, they’re a little bit folk rock, a little bit punk rock, and a little bit of world music all mixed into one. Whatever the ingredients are that make up the band, it works. They are full of energy, and put on one of the best live shows I’ve seen. Despite not having a household name, they have a die hard following, with an energetic crowd that knows the words to every song. Lead singer Eugene Hütz had been recovering from laryngitis, however he, and the rest of the band, sounded great!
