Saint Asonia

Saint Asonia walked on stage to a thunderous applause. Being a supergroup of sorts, it was well deserved. This Canadian-American rock group is fronted by the former singer from Three Days Grace, Adam Gontier. Adam sings lead vocals and also plays rhythm guitar. Mike Mushok is on lead guitar, Corey Lowery plays bass, and adds backing vocals. Last but not least is Rich Beddoe on drums. The group formed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2014 after Adam parted ways with the Three Days Grace band. The band went on to release their debut studio album “Saint Asonia”on July 31, 2015. They played original songs from the record and also played some of the more favorite Three Days Grace songs. Being an opening band usually means a short setlist, but Saint Asonia had a really great setlist and made good use of the stage time they had.

Alter Bridge

Myles Kennedy, and the rest of Alter Bridge were next to descend on the stage. An American rock band from Orlando, Florida, they formed after Creed disbanded. Myles Kennedy is the lead vocalist and guitarist, he is the only non-Creed member of the band. The lead guitarist and backing vocalist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips were all part of the original band. Myles Kennedy seems to turn everything he touches to gold, this band is no exception. The crowd loved them!

Breaking Benjamin

Breaking Benjamin started out in the late 90s and haven’t lost momentum yet. This American rock band from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1999 by lead singer and guitarist Benjamin Burnley and drummer Jeremy Hummel.

Although their line up may have changed, the quality is still there. Possibly the best part of the show was discovering just how much Benjamin Burnley loved the Transformers! From start to finish, Autobots to Decepticons, they were fantastic!

Disturbed

What can be said about Disturbed that hasn’t been said in their massively successful career. This American heavy metal band from Chicago has been entertaining up since the mid 90’s. The band currently includes vocalist David Draiman, bassist John Moyer, guitarist Dan Donegan, and drummer Mike Wengren. Their stage performance was the most grand of the night. They played heavy hitting song after song, engaged with the audience and entertained with pyro and smoke. They were the most obvious and best choice to close the show with!
