Last night was the first performance of Disney on Ice presents Follow Your Heart at the TD Garden in Boston.

As the show starts, the Fab Four (Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy) skate out as Riley from Inside Out is getting ready for her championship hockey game. As she tries to practice for the game, her emotions are getting the best of her. We then meet the emotions, Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, and they take us on a journey through Riley’s memories. Joy wants to share a happy memory with her to help her focus, but instead Anger shares a memory to help her release her inner beast.

Suddenly, we are no longer at a hockey game, but we are in France, as Belle finds her way to Beast’s castle, where the furniture asks her to be their guest.

I won’t give away any more details of the story, but the 60 Disney characters represented in the show come from favorites like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia, Toy Story , and of course, Frozen. You’ll also laugh with your favorite forgetful fish, Dory, and her pals Nemo, Merlin and Hank.
