#SupportLocalMusic – Come Kick Cancers Ass in Dedham, MA this November

We are very humbled by the support that our website has received through the years. What started as a blog covering a couple shows a year, has evolved to a website dedicated to sharing not just the music we love, but all entertainment events. From concerts and festivals, to game conventions and comic cons, our family, friends and fans have made our site what it is today.

We wanted to start something new on the site, a way to say thank you to our local support system. So we are starting a #supportlocal feature. Local bands, local charities, local needs.

Starting with our very good friend, and cancer survivor, Cheryl.

Cheryl is turning 50 this year and is celebrating being 10 years cancer free. In the midst of throwing herself a big party to celebrate, she is having a fundraising event to benefit the Bright Pink Organization.

Bright Pink is the only national non-profit organization focused on prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women. Their mission is to reach young woman, between the ages of 18 and 45, and empower them with the knowledge to live longer, fuller, happier lives with their life saving breast and ovarian health programs.

This event will feature food, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, DJ Howie B and a live performance by Draw The Line.
