Southern metal band Valient Thorr spent this summer on the Hard Rock stage at Vans Warped Tour. These guys are suppoting their seventh studio album, Old Salt, released last year. In a day full of rainy weather and delays, the sun came out while Valient Himself and the rest of the band put on a great show.

As Valient Himself walked on stage, he made a statement not typically heard at a rock show… “Who out there wants to wrestle an aligator?” He tossed a pool float into the crowd, as they kicked into “Heatseeker.” Later in the show, Valient Himself crawled out into the crowd, got everybody to sit down on the ground, and row their arms along while the band kept playing “Night Terrors.” Their set really was one of the highlights of the day, and they are a band not to be missed!
